The Card Forum coordinates collaboration among payment system participants and international card schemes to establish, maintain, and enhance standards, clearing rules, and procedures for card and ATM payments. The forum supports PAN’s core objectives by providing a trusted platform for consultation, operational synchronization, and technological upgrades, thereby ensuring a highly secure, reliable, and interoperable retail card network.
Through collaborative self-regulation, standard-setting, and risk monitoring, PAN coordinating forums ensure high systemic safety, legal compliance, and operational interoperability across Namibia's national payments market.
